Marketing is a revenue engine.
If we can't trace the work back to pipeline, retention, or pricing power, we shouldn't be doing it.
I’m Micha Rains. For over a decade I’ve sat shoulder-to-shoulder with marketers (in-house teams, founders, and operators), helping them build brand and strategy that quietly, relentlessly compounds into revenue.
The long story, short
Eleven years ago I started inside marketing teams that were doing real work for real businesses. Not influencer launches. Not vanity dashboards. Pipeline. Customer retention. Pricing power. The boring, beautiful stuff that actually keeps the lights on.
What I learned quickly: most marketers don’t need a louder agency. They need a strategic partner: someone who’ll sit with the messy problem long enough for it to become a clear one, then build the system that turns clarity into compounding revenue.
That’s the practice I’ve been refining ever since. Positioning that earns premium pricing. Messaging your sales team actually uses. Content that ranks, converts, and stays useful three years later. AI-enabled workflows that make smart teams faster without making the work feel like a robot wrote it.
Rains Meridian is the firm I always wanted to hire when I was inside those rooms: warm in the conversation, uncompromising in the craft, and personally accountable for the outcome.
Eleven years, briefly
Began working alongside in-house marketers, learning what makes campaigns convert and what makes them quietly die in a Slack thread.
Moved from tactics into positioning and brand work. Discovered that the hardest problems were almost always strategic clarity problems wearing creative costumes.
Started measuring every engagement against pipeline and revenue, not impressions. The work got sharper. So did the conversations.
Folded modern AI workflows into the practice: faster research, faster iteration, same uncompromising strategic standard.
Launched the firm I always wanted to hire: warm in the room, sharp on the page, personally accountable on every engagement.
What I believe
If we can't trace the work back to pipeline, retention, or pricing power, we shouldn't be doing it.
Most brands don't need more content. They need fewer, sharper moves that compound.
I work alongside your team. The best results show up when in-house talent has someone in their corner.
Trust is the shortest distance between a hard problem and a clear answer. I lead with it on purpose.
Thirty minutes on the calendar, no pitch deck. We’ll talk about where you are and whether I’m the right partner for what’s next.
