Rains Meridian · What we do

Content strategy & execution

Content strategy at Rains Meridian decides what your company should say, where, and why, then produces fewer, sharper pieces built to build authority and arm your sales team. Strategy, writing, and distribution rhythm come as one system, led personally by Micha Rains.

Who this is for

Lean marketing teams and founders who are publishing, or know they should be, but can't connect the effort to authority, sales conversations, or pipeline, and are tired of content that reads like it could belong to anyone.

This will sound familiar if

  • The blog publishes on schedule and influences nothing.
  • Sales never uses marketing content in actual deals.
  • Every piece sounds like it was written by a committee, or a chatbot.
  • Leadership asks what content is for, and nobody has a crisp answer.

The real problem

More content was never the answer. Better questions were.

The volume model of content is broken. Publishing weekly to fill a calendar produces archives nobody reads, nobody links to, and no buyer remembers, and now that generic content is free to generate, its value has fallen to zero. What still works is authority: a small body of work that answers your buyers' real questions with specific experience and a point of view competitors can't fake. That requires a strategy that starts from positioning and sales reality, and a standard that would rather publish eight excellent pieces than thirty forgettable ones.

The work

From sales calls to a body of work

  1. 01

Start from the sales conversations: the questions buyers actually ask, the objections they raise, the comparisons they make.

  2. 02

Choose the territories where your experience is genuinely differentiated, and map the questions inside them.

  3. 03

Write and edit to an editorial standard: original frameworks, real examples, and a voice that sounds like you on your best day.

  4. 04

Structure every piece to be found and cited: answer-first, internally linked, honest about what it claims.

  5. 05

Build the distribution rhythm: repurposing, sales enablement, and the cadence your team can actually sustain.

What you receive

Deliverables built to be used

  • A content strategy tied to positioning: territories, questions, formats, and the reasons behind them
  • An editorial calendar sequenced by business value, not by week-filling
  • Flagship content written and edited to standard, from articles to sales assets
  • Repurposing frameworks so one strong idea works across channels
  • A measurement view tied to citations, sales usage, and qualified pipeline

What changes

Outcomes you can point to

  • Content your sales team actually sends to prospects
  • Authority that shows up in search rankings and AI citations
  • A body of work that compounds instead of an archive that decays
  • A sustainable rhythm the team keeps after the engagement ends

In their words

"Micha re-wrote our marketing strategy. Sales doubled within a month of implementation. Within 6 months, we 4x our revenue. The results speak for themselves."

Questions, answered

What people ask before they call

Why shouldn't we just publish more often?

Because authority comes from depth in a chosen territory. Search engines and AI assistants reward comprehensive, experienced coverage of specific questions, and buyers do too. Thirty generic posts dilute the signal; eight substantial ones concentrate it.

Do you write the content or just plan it?

Both. Strategy without execution is a deck; execution without strategy is a calendar. I write and edit the flagship pieces personally and build the systems, briefs, and standards that let your team sustain the rhythm.

How do you make content our sales team will use?

By starting from their calls. The best content answers the questions prospects actually ask and handles the objections deals actually stall on. When content is built from sales reality, sales adopts it without being asked.

What about AI content tools?

Useful for acceleration, dangerous as a substitute. I use AI to speed up research and drafting, but the differentiators (your examples, your frameworks, your point of view) come from your experience. That's the only content worth publishing.

Can you work with our existing writers?

Gladly. Often the highest-leverage move is raising the ceiling on a team's existing output: better briefs, sharper editorial standards, and a strategy that points their effort at the questions that matter.

Let's talk about content strategy for your business.

A short conversation about where you are and where you want to be. No pitch, no pressure, and you'll leave with at least one useful idea either way.
